July 5, 2018
We had a very productive week. On the Scheffler house, we worked in the basement finishing the under slab plumbing and water line. We leveled the gravel and covered it with 6 mill poly. We placed a pipe under the slab, which will go through the roof and will allow ay radon gas to escape and not build up in the house. The basement is ready for concrete floor. Shingles were delivered and started. The exterior windows and doors were delivered and installed.
At the Carlson house, exterior foundation was completed including peel and stick waterproofing, foundation drain pipe, drain rock, paper and back filled. The basement gravel was placed to grade. The water line was run into the basement. The above ground basement section was framed and the main support posts and beams were installed. Floor joists were installed and most of the floor plywood was placed and secured. Lumber for framing the house is on site. The layout of the main floor walls was started.
