Chipley, FL RV – Weekly Report – March 22-26, 2021

March 22, 2021

As we near the end of out time of serving here in Chipley, Florida, we are feeling pressure to complete the renovations at Deborah Hughs house.  She works two jobs, so we are having a house blessing today prior to completion of her home.  As many jobs go, we seem to take two steps backward for each step forward!  We have completed the master bedroom and bath, the dining room and are in the process of completing floors in the kitchen, living room, hall and the second bathroom.  We are just starting this bathroom as it wasn’t initially on the list of areas needing renovated; (we are very happy that we can complete it).  Many areas remain that require finishing; lights, trim, touch up painting, cleaning, doors to be hung, the list goes on, but Thursday is coming!!!  We will get it done!

Last evening, we had a really nice time around the campfire, roasting hot dogs and enjoying good Plant City strawberry sundaes.  So nice to just sit, relax and continue to get to know each other better.  As a team building activity, we are excited about our scheduled airboat ride this Thursday; hopefully the weather will be agreeable as we had to cancel last Friday because of cold and windy weather. Our time here has gone by quickly, we are ready to go home but will miss all our new friends.
