Chipley, FL RV – Weekly Report – Feb 8-12, 2021

February 17, 2021

This past week here at Chipley, FL, RV site we have seen challenges of lots of rain with standing water all around and power outages, but God is so good!  We are all safe, Ken & Suetta Hollinger made it home safely to Engadine, MI, after serving with us for 2 weeks, and we have been blessed with the arrival of Paul & Lisa Schamback from Crogan, NY.  Lisa & Paul will leave us next week to fly to Paradise, CA where they will be establishing a traditional site to begin restoring hope to these people that have lost everything.  We wish them God’s blessing.

We are small in number but are continuing to restore hope to our client, Teri Mcphail.  We are now well on the way to completion of her house.  This past Thursday we completed her bedroom in which the wall had had a gaping hole.  The attached picture shows the beautiful bedroom completion.  We continue to work to complete closing all the holes, damaged walls, ceilings and floors in a second bedroom & the kitchen, correcting electrical issues, repairing cabinets and then we will complete outside siding where the hole created by the tree has been repaired, (when the rain stops)!

We as a team were treated to a delicious, made to order, panini meal by our fellow MDS’ers, Pam & Steve Haskins, Sunday evening.  What a treat, followed by pie & ice cream!
