Chipley, FL RV – Weekly Report – Feb 15-19, 2021

February 26, 2021

Chipley RV site has been blessed with lots of rain & tornado warnings, but compared to other RV site & their conditions, we have nothing to complain about!

At our client Teri’s house the floors were replaced in two bedrooms, closets & kitchen; walls & ceilings are painted, lights & fixtures replaced & the hardy board is applied externally where the tree damaged the house.  Part of this dead tree is still standing & is destined to fall on the newly repaired house; Fred got approval to have it removed, which is a blessing (Thank you, Jerry Grosh).  Tuesday, we had a house blessing and were pleasantly surprised by Norm & Carolyn Ringenberg stopping in to attend!  Pam presented Teri with a beautiful prayer shawl that she crocheted, perfect for her prayer tree!  (see attached picture)

Wednesday we started a small job for Johnell Andrews; she has ceiling damage in one bedroom and a closet, and the outside wall of the house needs to be replaced due to storm damage.  Thursday, we had to put the job on hold because of heavy rain so we returned to Michelle Wynn’s house to complete the repairs needed which were interrupted when her daughter tested + for Covid.  It is kitchen repair but with all the rain/moisture the spackling doesn’t dry so we will need to return Monday to complete job.

We have been blessed to have Paul & Lisa Schamback with us this week.  Paul was a tremendous asset on the jobs with his skill set; Lisa has been diligently studying the office management job for a traditional site they will be setting up in Paradise, CA.
