What Happened:

The Mendocino Complex Fire was first reported on July 27, 2018. This was the largest recorded fire complex in California history, consisting of the River Fire and Ranch Fire. By the time the complex fire was completely contained on September 18, 2018, it had burned a total of 459,123 acres and caused at least $267 million in damages.

What MDS Is Doing:

MDS volunteers will be staying at New Life Community Church in Ukiah. MDS will have access to rooms in several buildings on the campus. Volunteers will be focusing on completing several new builds.
