Pollocksville, NC – Weekly Report – Oct 28-Nov 1, 2019
November 6, 2019
Arriving late Sat evening was a badly needed new crew leader Dan Driediger from Sask. Canada. He along with are 81 yr. old crew leader Phil kept the 14 teenager/ young adult, Brethren from Mercersburg Area, under the leadership of Lavern & Saundra Long busy.
The Parsonage under Dan’s leadership got the drywall finished and the painting started. Meanwhile, Phil & Lavern worked at Ms. Mamie’s house, working on repairs, installing doors and all the odds and ends things that needed straightened out, at this sometime frustrating job. Later in the week some of the ladies helped with mudding and painting. Matthew took a group to Mr. Thigpen’s house to hang drywall. They almost got finished hanging this week.
Evelyn and Emily are keeping us well fed. Peanuts are snack food.
Please continue to pray for us as Ray has been busy meeting new clients and getting future work set up.
Ray keeps seeing deer and bears when he’s out and about in the early morning. We saw a turkey on the way to church on Sunday.
We’ll all miss our Sr crew leader Phil who headed back to PA.
