MDS Biweekly Update – Fall 2018 Scheduling

August 2, 2018

Lititz, Pa. — The fall season (October through December) will soon be upon us! The dates and locations for our fall projects are still being determined, but this fall we plan to work in the following locations:

Pine Ridge, South Dakota (2015 and 2016 Windstorms)
Lake County, California (2015 and 2016 Wildfires)
West Virginia Bridges (2015 and 2016 Flooding)
Victoria County, Texas (2017 Hurricane Harvey)
La Grange, Texas (2017 Hurricane Harvey)
Puerto Rico (2017 Hurricane Maria)

You can check the MDS current needs listing and give us a call.

We also plan to be working in Citrus County, Florida (RV Project, 2017 Hurricane Irma) and Fort Myers, Florida (2017 Hurricane Irma) this fall, and we expect to confirm that in the coming weeks.

We are now beginning to schedule Leadership Volunteers for the fall, but we expect that in the coming weeks we will announce our fall dates and start to schedule groups of Weekly Volunteers – first from our waitlist, and then on a first come, first served basis. We encourage you to consider now when you and those in your community might be available to serve, and let us know as soon as possible by phone or by completing the application.

If you don’t receive the biweekly update already, please sign up now and your first update will be delivered to you.
