Fort Myers, FL – Weekly Report – Nov 26-30, 2018

December 7, 2018

Sunday evening we had a group of thirteen ladies and two men come from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. They were all first time MDSers and had a bit of an issue finding our place. They were a little late coming to the site but they sure made up for it the rest of the week. The volunteers were all busy mudding and sanding. Wednesday the temperature dipped down to the low 40s. It was very cool in the bunks as there is no heat. The girls were singing one day when Ms. Elizabeth came to the house and she said that they were angels singing for her.

The girls also sang for us at camp one evening and Friday morning. It was wonderful to have someone singing so beautifully and playing the accordion. There was never a dull moment with this group. The girls were very easy to work with and had very bubbly personalities.

We had a fabulous week with these people. They all said they would do it again. Praise to God for always sending us the cheer we need to keep us going.
