Citrus County, FL RV – Weekly Report – Feb 18-22, 2019
February 26, 2019
The ten people on our team worked very hard this week and accomplished a great deal of renovation at Cheryl Isaman’s home in Dunnelon, Florida. This home is approximately 45 minutes from camp. This allows us to relax and cool off on our way home, and even take a short nap. We have found that some people can fall asleep very quickly and wake up feeling refreshed. This week we finished the back bedroom and it was ready for occupation at the end of the week. It has been a long time since a bed has been in this room. The bathroom also was nearly finished with a new coat of paint, a new vanity and toilet, and new floor and flooring. The second bedroom is nearly completed with new floor, a fresh coat of yellow paint, and new trim. The new flooring will be laid this coming week. Rewiring was done in the dining room and the room made ready for painting which the ladies will do this coming week. Our guys will go to another home to put up new ceiling since it had fallen in after the hurricane in 2017. No one has been living in this home since the hurricane. They left the home when the ceilings all fell in and have not returned since so everything is really a mess. It will all need to be removed before the new work can begin.
We attended New Hope Baptist Church today and were blessed with some very friendly members and music that had all of us thrilled.
The weatherman is insisting that there is a cool front coming in this coming week and he promises cooler temperatures in the high 70’s. We are looking forward to the forecast. Humidity in Florida can become very taxing.
We are asking for prayers for one of our clients whose mother passed away. We have had to put off fixing her home, so pray that we will be able to get this home done before it is time to leave at the end of March.
