Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation whose Board of Directors are elected by the Board of Delegates. MDS operates in a manner consistent with the policies set by the Board of Directors and in accordance with the MDS bylaws.
Our Board of Directors is comprised of 14 members and meets four times a year. The board is responsible for establishing policy and guiding MDS’s work to respond, rebuild and restore throughout Canada and the U.S.
All Directors come from a wide range of backgrounds in church, medical, construction, business, agriculture, academic and private sectors. All of the following directors are independent voting members, as defined in IRS Form 990.
