Baytown, Tex. RV, Weekly Reports, Feb 12-15, 2018

Quote from the week per one of our team members, “Why join a gym when you can join MDS?”
There were six RV couples including the project leader and office manager. They came from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Huntsville, Alabama; West Jefferson, Ohio; Catoosa, Oklahoma; Fairview, Michigan and Devon, Alberta, Canada.
The group began working on the Fraser’s house. Work included drywall construction, primer on walls, painting of ceiling and walls and removal of rotted wood, which was replaced with new lumber and drywall. The kitchen cabinet base was removed and replaced with new plywood. Starting the new job at the Fraser’s; although the job scope was daunting, there was a lot of work was accomplished.
After a hard work week, the team spent Friday on Galveston Island. Then on Saturday, we attended a fund raiser for the Smith Point Volunteer Fire Department near Anahuac, where we had previously spent three weeks working.
Next week, we will continue work on the Fraser’s house. Work will begin on Philip Kysar’s house. The work at the Kysar house will include drywall, interior trim, painting, plumbing and flooring.
