As needs intensify in Haiti, response is taking shape
August 27, 2021
In the wake of a 7.2-magnitude earthquake on Aug. 14 in Haiti, people are in need of shelter, food aid and medical assistance. More than 50,000 homes were destroyed. How can you help? The best way to respond is through an organization already working with existing local partners in Haiti.
The Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), an MDS partner agency, is responding to needs in Haiti while MDS continues to focus on responding in the U.S. and Canada. For ways to help in Haiti, and for the latest information on needs, please visit https://donate.mcc.org/cause/haiti-earthquake
