VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN FRESNO, CA
Volunteers needed to help with food distribution to those impacted by drought in Fresno County, California, and neighboring areas.
Now through November and for the reminder of the year, the Community Food Bank in Fresno is in desperate need of volunteers at their distribution center to pre-box food as well as to pre-box holiday meal boxes that will be distributed to partner pantries through the holidays. Volunteers are needed Monday - Friday, from 6:30am - 2:00pm and Saturdays (Nov. 7, 14, 21 and Dec. 5, 12, 19) from 8:00am - noon and 1:00pm - 4:00pm. If they get additional assistance, they will extend volunteer opportunities as needed. MDS volunteers are known for repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by disasters. But it takes more than construction skills to serve with MDS. During the time that you serve as a volunteer, you will learn that MDS also restores lives.

Your contribution will help to connect volunteers with disaster survivors who need assistance on their path to recovery. MDS depends on the support of people who believe that disaster response is an important part of helping those who are in need.
