Responding Rebuilding Restoring

Weekly Report from New Iberia

April 10, 2009
Category: New Iberia, LA

The Louisiana sunsets are so beautiful, we see God’s hand as we retire each night and are awaked by the songbirds singing His praises.

We are really pressing hard to finish all three homes in time for the dedications on April 16.

As with all of the last minute details, the list seems to grow instead of getting smaller.

As a thank you to the neighbor, Mr. Paul, we would like to cleanup his yard and work on his mower, and the list gets longer!

We are on the Potter’s Wheel,

Patricia Nafziger

Volunteer

MDS volunteers are known for repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by disasters. But it takes more than construction skills to serve with MDS. During the time that you serve as a volunteer, you will learn that MDS also restores lives.

Donate

Your contribution will help to connect volunteers with disaster survivors who need assistance on their path to recovery. MDS depends on the support of people who believe that disaster response is an important part of helping those who are in need.
