Responding Rebuilding Restoring

Terrace, BC

Disaster Description
On June 4th the Skeena River spilled its banks and flooded many homes in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada.

MDS volunteers have been in the community twice and it is now evident that a rebuilding response is needed. Another volunteer agency cleaned up over 100 of the 271 impacted homes, but now there is need to rebuild some of those.  The Lord is providing opportunities to work together with local Terrace leaders in responding to a very real need in their surrounding community.
