MDS Binational Office and Warehouse, Lititz PA
The overwhelming and powerful constituency response to recent disasters has made the current binational office at 1018 Main Street, Akron, PA too small and lacking flexibility.
The new facility will support the expanded MDS mission and will serve as a tool to equip more project leaders who facilitate projects and volunteers for better disaster response.
This will be done through increased volunteer training, meeting rooms and space to accommodate local office volunteers.
MDS values volunteers. To direct all of these volunteers, MDS will need training facilities where we can prepare additional project directors, construction supervisors, cooks, office managers and crew leaders.
