Disaster

Devastating tornados hit the South on April 26-28, 2011. There were over 27 tornado paths through Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee alone. An EF5 tornado went through Tuscaloosa, AL and Birmingham, AL.  

MDS Response

MDS Binational is working with the Alabama Unit to respond to this immense disaster. The MDS camp is set up at the New Victory Fellowship Church in Birmingham. It is located about one mile away from the severely damaged towns of Pratt City and Pleasant Grove. The initial work is clean up, and work will move into rebuilding as is possible.
